Worthing Minis Section U5s-U11s (2023-24)
WELCOME
Welcome to the Minis section at Worthing RFC! The Minis section includes teams from the U5s (Reception year in school (ages 4-5)) through to the U11s (Year 6 at school (ages 10-11)).
Whether your child has never played rugby before or has been playing for years, we welcome you to come along and give it a try. We play nearly every Sunday morning from September to April and to get started all you have to do is turn up! Your first four sessions are free, so you can ensure your child enjoys rugby with us before becoming a member of the club.
Our primary focus is on the children having fun whilst being active and enjoying the fresh air! The U5s and U6s do not play matches, just friendly sessions each week. The U7s and U8s play tag rugby with training weekly and festivals throughout the season where multiple clubs come together to play each other. The U9s, U10s and U11s play contact rugby with training weekly and festivals throughout the season. We also incorporate England Rugby’s core values of TREDS (Teamwork, Respect, Enjoyment, Discipline and Sportsmanship) in everything we do.

- Season 2023-2024 runs Sun 3rd Sep 2023 – Sun 5th May 2024 inclusive
- Minis train every Sunday morning 09:00 – 10:15 unless otherwise notified
- The U5s train on the top half of Pitch 3 A, U6s on the bottom half of Pitch 3 A, U7s on Pitch 3 B, U8s on Pitch 3 C, U9s on Pitch 4 B, U10s on Pitch 4 A, U11s on Pitch 5 B:
